The Economist needed to analyse the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns across a large volume of data, while also managing their commercial lists — all through an interface simple enough for day-to-day use.

The system surfaced metrics that had previously been very difficult to determine, giving The Economist clear visibility into their campaign performance and significantly simplifying the management of their commercial lists.

High-value testing equipment was spread across a large facility with no reliable way to pinpoint its location at any given time, creating delays when equipment was needed and making it difficult to account for expensive assets.

Created a system to track high-end testing equipment across a large facility using RFID, giving real-time updates on the location of equipment.

The combined hardware and software solution gave the client an accurate, real-time view of every piece of equipment in the facility. It also triggered alerts when equipment left the premises — covering legitimate off-site repairs and calibration, while serving as an effective loss prevention measure.

The client had a large number of assets spread across their organisation with no reliable way to track them — no central record of what they owned, where it was, or its current status.

Created a web-based system to track assets across a business, utilising handheld computers for data capture in the field.

The system gave the client full visibility over their asset inventory, enabling both open and blind audits, reducing loss, and satisfying compliance requirements they had previously struggled to meet.

Hydro One were constructing a new powerline across Ontario, requiring the erection of numerous towers. The critical challenge was knowing when every constituent part for each tower had been delivered to the correct location — only then could construction begin on that section.

Created a system for Hydro One to track the on-site delivery of powerline equipment, with GPS and barcode confirmation at each stage.

Field workers used WAN-enabled handheld computers with GPS support to scan equipment as it arrived on-site, confirming delivery to the correct location. This gave the project team a real-time view of what was on-site, and when each tower's full complement of parts had been received construction could be scheduled with confidence.
